Flat Iron Steak with Sour Cream Sauce
Roasted Potatoes and Garlic Broccolini
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- 3 Tbsp Italian dressing
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (from a can)
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ lb flat iron steak, trimmed
Instructions
- Stir together sour cream, 2 Tbsp Italian dressing and cheese in a bowl; season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Heat remaining 1 Tbsp dressing in a nonstick skillet; add onion and garlic, and cook, stirring, 10 minutes or until onion is very tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Heat oil in same skillet over medium-high heat; season steak with salt and pepper.
- Add steak to skillet, and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Let steak stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain; serve topped with onions and sour cream sauce.

- ½ (24-oz) bag frozen roasted garlic-and-herb homestyle potato wedges
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp water
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake potatoes according to package directions.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add broccolini and water; cover, and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Season to taste.
