Caramelized Pear-and Brie-Stuffed Pastries

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 Bartlett pear, cored and finely chopped
- 1 (9.5-oz) pkg frozen puff pastry cups
- 1 (4-oz) round Brie, cut into ½-inch cubes
- ¼ cup finely chopped roasted and salted almonds
Instructions
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat; whisk in brown sugar and honey. Cook 2 minutes.
- Add pear, and cook, stirring, 8 minutes or until tender.
- Meanwhile, bake puff pastry cups according to package directions; immediately press down centers of pastries, and fill with Brie cubes.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Arrange pastry cups on a serving platter; top with pear mixture, and sprinkle with almonds.
