Mongolian Beef Stir-Fry

Garlic-Ginger Bok Choy

Ingredients

  • 2 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 3 red chile peppers, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 8 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Place beef, soy sauce, oil, ginger, fish sauce and garlic in a large zip-top plastic bag. Seal bag, and chill at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
  2. Sauté beef mixture in a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until beef starts to brown.
  3. Stir in chile peppers and green onions; sauté 2 minutes or until tender. Serve over Garlic-Ginger Bok Choy.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 2 lb bok choy, trimmed and coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook garlic and ginger in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 2 minutes or until tender.
  2. Add bok choy; sauté 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in soy sauce; cook 1 minute.
