Pepperoncini Sub Sandwiches

Fruit Salad with Honey Dressing and Pretzels

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • ½ lb thinly sliced deli ham
  • ½ lb thinly sliced deli turkey
  • ½ lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg thinly sliced provolone cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Hollow out cut sides of bread, leaving a ½-inch-thick shell.
  2. Stir together mayonnaise, vinegar and seasoning; spread over cut sides of bread.
  3. Layer lettuce, ham, turkey, roast beef, cheese, tomatoes and peppers over bottom half of bread. Cover with bread top; slice to serve.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 (2-lb) carton prepared fruit salad
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg pretzels

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Whisk together orange juice and honey in a large bowl. Add fruit, toss.
  2. Serve with pretzels.
