Pepperoncini Sub Sandwiches
Fruit Salad with Honey Dressing and Pretzels
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
- ½ lb thinly sliced deli ham
- ½ lb thinly sliced deli turkey
- ½ lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 1 (8-oz) pkg thinly sliced provolone cheese
- 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Hollow out cut sides of bread, leaving a ½-inch-thick shell.
- Stir together mayonnaise, vinegar and seasoning; spread over cut sides of bread.
- Layer lettuce, ham, turkey, roast beef, cheese, tomatoes and peppers over bottom half of bread. Cover with bread top; slice to serve.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 (2-lb) carton prepared fruit salad
- 1 (12-oz) pkg pretzels
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together orange juice and honey in a large bowl. Add fruit, toss.
- Serve with pretzels.
