Cheesy Potato Tots

Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (8-oz) block Cheddar cheese, cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 (16-oz) bottle Ranch dressing
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Press hash browns between layers of paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Stir together hash browns, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl. Add eggs, stirring to blend.
  3. Press potato mixture around each cube of cheese to make a tater tot-size ball. Press potato tot balls into 2 (24-cup) well-greased miniature muffin pans.
  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are browned. Cool in pans 5 minutes; remove from pans, and serve with Ranch dressing or ketchup for dipping.
