Cheesy Potato Tots
Ingredients
- 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (8-oz) block Cheddar cheese, cut into ½-inch cubes
- 1 (16-oz) bottle Ranch dressing
- Ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Press hash browns between layers of paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Stir together hash browns, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl. Add eggs, stirring to blend.
- Press potato mixture around each cube of cheese to make a tater tot-size ball. Press potato tot balls into 2 (24-cup) well-greased miniature muffin pans.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are browned. Cool in pans 5 minutes; remove from pans, and serve with Ranch dressing or ketchup for dipping.
