Skillet Tex-Mex Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
  • 1 (1-oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen corn
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix, water and tomato sauce; bring to a boil, stir in pasta and corn. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
