Skillet Tex-Mex Pasta
Southwest Salads
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 (1-oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
- 3 cups water
- 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
- 3 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen corn
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Mexican cheese blend
Instructions
- Cook beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix, water and tomato sauce; bring to a boil, stir in pasta and corn. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
