Bacon Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ (14.1-oz) pkg refrigerated piecrusts
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (2.5-oz) pkg real bacon pieces
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll piecrust, and fit into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate, crimping edges, if desired. Prick bottom of crust all over with a fork; bake 7 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  3. Stir in bacon, panko, ketchup, Dijon and steak seasoning; spoon mixture into partially-baked crust.
  4. Whisk together egg and milk in a bowl; stir in cheese. Dollop over beef mixture; spread evenly to edges of crust.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned. Cut into wedges to serve.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen waffle fries
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese 
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 6 carrots, cut into sticks
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer.
  2. Serve carrots with dressing for dipping.
