Sheet-Pan Oklahoma Fried Onion Burgers

Ingredients

  • ½ onion, very thinly sliced
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 hamburger buns, split
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ (10-oz) pkg angel hair coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Scatter onions over a greased rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Stir together ground beef, Worcestershire and steak seasoning in a bowl; shape mixture into 2 large, thin patties. Place patties over onions, pressing onions into patties (not all onions will be covered).
  3. Bake 15 minutes or until patties are no longer pink. Top each patty with cheese; return to oven to melt.
  4. Top bottom buns with tomato and coleslaw; add patties, and cover with bun tops. Serve with desired condiments.

  • ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen crinkle-cut French fries

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Place fries in a single layer on a greased baking sheet; bake 25 to 30 minutes or until crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
