Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs
Italian Steamed Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 (24-oz) jars marinara sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 oz spaghetti, broken in half
- 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen meatballs
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Whisk together marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Add uncooked spaghetti, stirring to coat with sauce.
- Arrange meatballs over spaghetti.
- Cover and bake 50 to 60 minutes, stirring halfway through baking time, until pasta is tender.
- Uncover, stir again, and top with cheese.
- Increase oven temp to broil.
- Broil 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and beginning to brown.
- Top with basil.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Place broccoli florets in a steamer basket over simmering water; steam 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Transfer to a serving bowl; stir in butter, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
