Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1½ cups packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 (10-oz) pkg miniature candy coated chocolate pieces
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg bite-sized chocolate covered peanut butter cups
  • 1 (3.2-oz) box chocolate-covered rice cereal candy bites
  • 1 (5-oz) box milk chocolate covered caramels

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and sugars at medium-high speed with a mixer until fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add vanilla, and beat until combined.
  2. Add eggs and egg yolks, one a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined.
  4. Stir in all candies but chocolate covered caramels. Cover, and refrigerate dough 1 hour or up to 3 days.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  6. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfulls onto greased baking sheets. Place 1 chocolate covered caramel in the center of each cookie.
  7. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on pans for 3 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
  8. Store cookies in airtight containers up to 1 week.
