Herbed Tomato Tarts

Ingredients
- 1 (17.3-oz) pkg frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 (5.2-oz) pkg garlic and herb spreadable cheese (such as Boursin)
- 8 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface; roll each pastry into a 12-inch square.
- Cut rounds from dough using a 2½-inch round cutter. Prick rounds all over with a fork.
- Spread about 2 tsp cheese over centers of each dough round, leaving a ½-inch border on all sides. Top each with 1 tomato slice.
- Place pastry rounds on a lightly greased baking sheet; bake 10 to 12 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
- Top with basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
