Roast Beef And Caramelized Onion Sandwiches
Garlic-Parsley French Fries
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp horseradish
- ½ (16-oz) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise and toasted
- ½ lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 4 to 6 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. Increase heat to medium-high. Cook, stirring constantly, until onion is caramel colored.
- Meanwhile, stir together mustard, mayonnaise, and horseradish. Spread over cut sides of bread.
- Layer bottom half of bread with roast beef, onion, and cheese. Place on a baking sheet and bake 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Cover with bread top; slice to serve.

- ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen French fries
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions.
- Stir together melted butter, parsley, and garlic in a bowl; drizzle over fries, and toss to coat.
