Honey-Thyme Lemonade
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1¼ cups sugar
- 8 cups water, divided
- 6 sprigs fresh thyme (optional)
- 1½ cups fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Combine honey, sugar, 2 cups water, and thyme in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
- Let cool 30 minutes; strain mixture, discarding thyme. Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Combine sugar mixture, lemon juice, 6 cups water, and sliced lemon in a large pitcher, stir. Serve over ice.
