Spicy Grilled Flank Steak
Spanish-Style Cauli "Rice"Ingredients
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup avocado oil (or use olive oil)
- 3 Tbsp jarred minced garlic
- 2 lb flank steak
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together paprika, salt, cumin, cayenne pepper, oil, and garlic. Rub steak with spice mixture.
- Grill steak, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.

- 1 (8-oz) pkg diced onions
- 1 Tbsp jarred minced garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil (or use olive oil)
- 1 (12-oz) pkg riced cauliflower
- 1 cup organic chicken broth
- ½ cup sliced green olives
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tomato, chopped
Side Dish Instructions
- Sauté onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in hot oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until onion is tender.
- Stir in cauliflower, broth, olives, and tomato paste; cover and cook 15 minutes or until cauliflower is tender. Remove from heat; stir in tomato.
