Sticky Lemonade Chicken
Steamed Green BeansIngredients
- 2½ lb deli chicken nuggets
- 1 cup lemonade
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sweet red chile sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp refrigerated minced ginger (from a 4 oz tube)
- 2 (8.8-oz) pouches microwavable rice
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F'.
- Bake chicken 10 to 15 minutes on a rimmed baking sheet until browned and crisp.
- Meanwhile, whisk together lemonade, soy sauce, vinegar, chile sauce, honey, and cornstarch in a large skillet. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
- Stir in ginger and chicken nuggets; toss.
- Heat rice according to package directions; divide among 6 bowls and top with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro.
