Cheddar Turkey Burgers with Apples
Broccoli-Cranberry SaladIngredients
- 6 (4-oz) frozen organic turkey burgers (such as Applegate Organics)
- 6 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 6 Tbsp roasted garlic mayonnaise (such as Hellmann's)
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh sage
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 6 (2-oz) whole wheat hamburger buns
- 1½ cups baby arugula
Instructions
- Cook burgers according to package directions for stovetop, topping with cheese during last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Core apple, and cut into thin rings. Combine mayonnaise, sage, and lemon juice. Spread over cut sides of buns. Serve burgers, apple rings, and arugula on buns.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- ½ cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a bowl.
