Pork Chops with Pear, Blue Cheese, and Balsamic Glaze
Roasted Green Beans with Lemon-Herb Butter
Ingredients
- 2 (6-oz) boneless center-cut loin pork chops
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 firm, ripe red pear, peeled and sliced
- ⅓ cup sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp jarred minced garlic
- 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary (or use dried)
- 1 Tbsp balsamic glaze
- 3 Tbsp crumbled blue cheese
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Cook in hot oil over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
- Add pear, onion, garlic, and rosemary to skillet; sauté 5 to 6 minutes or until pear and onion are tender.
- Serve pear mixture over pork; drizzle with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with cheese.

- 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ small shallot, minced
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp butter, softened
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss beans with oil in a roasting pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, stir together shallot, parsley, lemon zest, and butter; toss with hot cooked beans. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
