Creamy Chicken Divan
Steamed Rice and Buttery Dinner RollsIngredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (14.5-oz) can chicken broth
- ⅓ cup dry white wine
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add chicken, and cook 6 minutes or until done. Add flour; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
- Stir in broth and wine, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low; stir in sour cream and cheese.
- Microwave broccoli according to package directions; drain, and add to skillet. Cook, stirring, 3 minutes. Season to taste and serve over rice.

- 1½ cups long-grain rice
- 3 Tbsp butter, softened
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen dinner rolls
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook rice according to package directions; season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Spread butter over frozen rolls; bake according to package directions.
