Seared Tuna Salad with Horseradish-Avocado Dressing

Ingredients
- ½ lb tuna steaks
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (12-oz) pkg salad mix with lettuce, carrots, pea pods, cabbage, and radishes
- ½ avocado, coarsely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1½ Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp creamy horseradish sauce
Instructions
- Sprinkle fish lightly with salt and pepper. Sear in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes. Cut into thick slices.
- Divide salad mix between 2 plates; top with fish.
- Process avocado, garlic, water, vinegar, soy sauce, and horseradish sauce in a food processor or blender until smooth. Drizzle dressing over salads.
