Oven-Baked Meatballs and Linguine
Garlic-Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1½ tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 (24-oz) cans marinara sauce
- 1 (16-oz) pkg linguine
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F; line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack over foil.
- Stir together beef, onion, Italian seasoning, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add beaten egg, stirring to blend.
- Shape into 2-inch meatballs; place on wire rack. Bake 20 minutes.
- Transfer meatballs to a large skillet; add marinara sauce, and cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until sauce is thoroughly heated.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; toss with meatballs and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.

- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread broccoli on a large baking sheet, and toss with garlic. Drizzle with oil, and season with desired amount of salt and pepper. Bake 15 minutes or until crisp-tender.
