Pork Chops with Pears, Blue Cheese, and Balsamic Glaze
Roasted Green Beans with Lemon-Herb Butter
Ingredients
- 6 (4-oz) boneless center-cut loin pork chops
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 firm-ripe red pears, peeled and sliced
- 1½ cups sliced onions
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- ¼ cup balsamic glaze (such as Gia Russa)
- ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Cook, in batches, in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
- Add pears, onion, garlic, and rosemary to skillet; sauté 6 to 8 minutes or until pears and onion are tender.
- Serve pear mixture over pork; drizzle with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with cheese.

- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 small shallot, minced
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss beans with oil in a roasting pan. Bake 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, stir together shallot, parsley, lemon zest, and butter; toss with hot cooked beans. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
