Cheddar Turkey Burgers with Apple
Broccoli-Cranberry Salad
Ingredients
- 2 (4-oz) frozen organic turkey burgers (such as Applegate Organics)
- 2 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
- ½ small Granny Smith apple
- 2 Tbsp roasted garlic mayonnaise (such as Hellmann's)
- 2 tsp chopped fresh sage
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 (2-oz) whole wheat hamburger buns
- ½ cup baby arugula
Instructions
- Cook burgers according to package directions for stovetop, topping with cheese during last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Thinly slice apple. Combine mayonnaise, sage, and lemon juice. Spread over cut sides of buns. Serve burgers, apple, and arugula on buns.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 Tbsp sweetened dried cranberries
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp fresh orange juice
- ½ tsp honey
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a bowl.
