Ground Beef Stroganoff
Buttery Egg Noodles and Steamed Peas
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1½ cups beef broth
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cook beef, mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
- Stir in broth and Worcestershire sauce; cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thickened. Stir in sour cream; cook 2 minutes.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg wide egg noodles
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen steamable peas
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Stir in butter until melted.
- Cook peas according to package directions; season to taste.
