Meatball Mummy Poppers
Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Carrot Sticks
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg fully-cooked frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Ketchup (or use marinara sauce)
Instructions
- Bake meatballs according to package directions; then increase oven temperature to 375°F.
- Unroll dough; separate into 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. Using a sharp knife, cut each dough rectangle into 10 long strips.
- Wrap each meatball with 2 to 3 dough strips to look like "bandages." Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Lightly spray each with cooking spray.
- Bake 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ketchup.

- 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1½ lb carrots, cut into sticks
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook mashed potatoes in microwave according to package directions. Stir in butter until melted.
- Toss carrot sticks with oil on a rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, stirring once after 15 minutes.
