Easy Shells and Cheese Soup with Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) carton chicken broth
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg premium shells and cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg diced cooked ham, drained
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring broth to a boil in a medium saucepan; add macaroni, and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until just tender.
  2. Stir in milk and cheese sauce (from the box). Cook 3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Stir in ham, Monterey Jack cheese, and pepper; cook until cheese is melted and soup is thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 4 pears, well chilled

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Peel and slice pears just before serving.
