Sticky Honey-Soy Chicken Thighs
Sesame Vegetable Medley
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about ¾ lb)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ Tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ Tbsp dark sesame oil
- 1½ Tbsp honey
- 1½ Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in hot oils in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side.
- Stir together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic; pour over chicken in skillet. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until chicken is done; uncover and cook 3 minutes or until sauce is syrupy.
- Sprinkle with green onion before serving.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots (such as Birds Eye)
- ½ Tbsp dark sesame oil
- ½ Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
Side Dish Instructions
- Microwave vegetables according to package directions; transfer to a bowl. Stir in oil, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.
