BLT Steak Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing
Cantaloupe Wedges
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1½ lb top sirloin steak
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 (10-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- ½ cup refrigerated blue cheese dressing (such as Marzetti)
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat 8 minutes or until crisp; drain on paper towels, and crumble.
- Rub steak with oil and seasoning; cook in hot drippings 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes, and cut into 1-inch cubes.
- Combine lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon in a bowl; top with steak, and drizzle with dressing.

- Cut cantaloupe into wedges; chill.
