BLT Steak Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1½ lb top sirloin steak
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 (10-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes
  • ½ cup refrigerated blue cheese dressing (such as Marzetti)

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat 8 minutes or until crisp; drain on paper towels, and crumble.
  2. Rub steak with oil and seasoning; cook in hot drippings 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes, and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon in a bowl; top with steak, and drizzle with dressing.

  • 1 small cantaloupe

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cut cantaloupe into wedges; chill.
