Spaghetti and Meatball Soup
Toasted French Bread
Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen meatballs
- 3 cups broken spaghetti pieces
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook onion in hot oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat 6 minutes.
- Stir in broth, pasta sauce, brown sugar, seasoning, and garlic salt; add meatballs. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Add pasta, and cook 7 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with cheese.

- ½ (16-oz) loaf French bread
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake bread directly on oven rack 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
