Skillet Broccoli-and-Chicken Alfredo Penne

Ingredients

  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 1½ Tbsp jarred minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (8.5-oz) pouch microwavable penne pasta (such as Barilla)
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets (such as Eat Smart)
  • 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken (without skin)
  • ½ (10-oz) pkg refrigerated Alfredo sauce
  • ¼ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook onion and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until onion is tender.
  2. Meanwhile, cook pasta and broccoli according to package directions.
  3. Stir cooked broccoli, chicken, and Alfredo sauce into onion mixture; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce is thoroughly heated. Stir in pasta and cheese.
