Ingredients
- 1½ lb lean round steak, cut into 6-inch pieces
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with green peppers, celery, and onion
- 1 (8-oz) pkg chopped onions
- 1 (8-oz) pkg diced three-pepper mix
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
Instructions
- Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Cook in hot oil, in batches, in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned.
- Place steak in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Add tomatoes, onions, peppers, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. Serve over Fontina Grits recipe.

- 1½ cups quick-cooking grits
- 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
- 1½ Tbsp butter
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
