Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (14.5-oz) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped fresh basil
  • ½ cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg shell pasta
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and transfer to a  4-or 5-quart slow cooker. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients except pasta and cheese.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and add pasta and cheese to slow cooker. Stir and serve.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cut carrots into sticks to serve.
