Honey-Balsamic Pork Chops
Roasted Pears and Brown Rice
Ingredients
- 2 (1-inch-thick) boneless pork chops
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 4 tsp honey
- 1 Tbsp melted butter
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush pork with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir together honey, butter, and vinegar.
- Cook pork in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes. Turn pork over, and brush with honey mixture. Transfer skillet to oven, and bake 6 minutes or until done.

- 1 (8.8-oz) pkg microwavable brown rice
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp apple cider
- 2 firm pears, cored and quartered
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook rice according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet. Stir in sugar and cider, and cook until syrupy. Stir in pears. Transfer skillet to oven, and bake 8 minutes or until tender.
