Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chuck roast, trimmed
- ½ onion, coarsely chopped
- 3 carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, drained
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ (6-oz) can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cut beef into 1½-inch chunks. Combine beef and remaining ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or until beef is very tender.
- Divide stew into 3 portions; serve 2 portions. Refrigerate 1 portion up to 3 days.
