Turkey, Cabbage, and Tomato Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 (28-oz) can diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp dried crushed rosemary
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Cook turkey, onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until turkey is browned and crumbly.
- Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, rosemary, and red pepper; bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
