Frozen Banana-Almond Butter Bars

Ingredients
- 4 bananas, sliced and frozen
- ½ cup almond butter, divided
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- ½ cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup chopped almonds
Instructions
- Process bananas and ¼ cup almond butter in a food processor until smooth.
- Spread in a greased 8-inch square baking dish, and top with ¼ cup almond butter. Swirl with a knife or wooden pick.
- Freeze 3 hours or until frozen solid. Use a hot knife to cut into 4 squares. Return to freezer.
- Whisk together oil, cocoa powder, and syrup in a shallow bowl until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove Banana-Almond Butter bars from freezer.
- Dip top and bottom of each bar in melted chocolate. Place bars on parchment paper; sprinkle with nuts. Freeze 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
