Homemade Cheesy Hamburger Pasta
Browned Butter Green Beans with PecansIngredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 (15-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese and parsley; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in cheese until melted. Sprinkle with parsley.

- 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam green beans according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; cook 2 minutes or until butter has a nutty fragrance and is browned.
- Add green beans and pecans; cook 2 minutes. Season to taste.
