Grilled Barbecue Burgers with Onion Rings

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns, split
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Bake onion rings according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, combine beef and seasoning; shape into 6 patties. Cook patties, in batches if necessary, in a large nonstick skillet 4 to 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
  3. Top burgers with cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted.
  4. Preheat broiler. Place buns, cut sides up, on a baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or until toasted.
  5. Spread barbecue sauce over cut sides of buns. Stir together coleslaw and dressing. Serve burgers on buns with slaw and onion rings.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (28-oz) can home-style baked beans, drained
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 slices bacon, diced

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place beans in a lightly greased 1½-quart baking dish. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
