Turkey, Cabbage, and Tomato Skillet

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning
  • 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp dried crushed rosemary
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey, onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until turkey is browned and crumbly.
  2. Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, rosemary, and red pepper; bring to a boil.
  3. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Season with salt to taste.
