Easy Korean Beef Bowl

Steamed Rice and Vegetable Pot Stickers

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 crown broccoli, cut into small florets
  • ½ (8-oz) pkg whole mushrooms, quartered
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ Tbsp sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add broccoli and mushrooms; cook, stirring 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red pepper, and ginger; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Serve over rice.

  • ¾ cup long-grain white rice
  • ½ (9.49-oz) pkg vegetable pot stickers

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
