Meatball Sandwich Bake

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen Italian-style meatballs, thawed
- 2 (24-oz) cans pasta sauce
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush 1 side of each bread slice with oil. Line bottom and sides of a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with bread, oil sides up and slightly overlapping.
- Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Stir together meatballs and pasta sauce; spoon over bread. Bake 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly; sprinkle with cheese, and bake 5 minutes longer or until melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg classic salad mix
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3 radishes, thinly sliced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ½ cup Greek vinaigrette
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl just before serving.
