Asian Ground Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 6 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 (8-oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, garlic, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly. Drain and return to skillet.
  2. Whisk together cornstarch, broth, soy sauce, and oil. Add to skillet with water chestnuts and broccoli.
  3. Cook 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until sauce is thickened and broccoli is tender. Serve over rice.

  • 2 cups long-grain white rice
