Asparagus-Cheese Tart

Strawberry and Watercress with Spicy Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough
  • 1 (6.5-oz) pkg garlic-herb spreadable cheese
  • 6 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 lb thin asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Coat a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread dough to cover entire baking sheet (see Note). Spread garlic-herb cheese over dough, and sprinkle with ¼ cup Parmesan.
  2. Arrange asparagus over cheese, and brush edges of crust with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until crust is crisp and golden brown. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp Parmesan.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, quartered
  • 1 (4-oz) pkg watercress
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 3 Tbsp hot jalapeño pepper jelly
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh mint

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together strawberries, watercress, and onion in a large bowl. Whisk together jelly, oil, lemon juice, and mint; drizzle over salad.
