Asparagus-Cheese Tart
Strawberry and Watercress with Spicy VinaigretteIngredients
- 1 (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough
- 1 (6.5-oz) pkg garlic-herb spreadable cheese
- 6 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 lb thin asparagus, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Coat a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread dough to cover entire baking sheet (see Note). Spread garlic-herb cheese over dough, and sprinkle with ¼ cup Parmesan.
- Arrange asparagus over cheese, and brush edges of crust with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until crust is crisp and golden brown. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp Parmesan.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, quartered
- 1 (4-oz) pkg watercress
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- 3 Tbsp hot jalapeño pepper jelly
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh mint
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together strawberries, watercress, and onion in a large bowl. Whisk together jelly, oil, lemon juice, and mint; drizzle over salad.
