Sirloin Steak Salad with Crispy Onions
Garlic Texas Toast
Ingredients
- 1½ lb sirloin steak, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen corn, thawed
- 1 (10-oz) pkg mixed salad greens
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 (6-oz) pkg French fried onions
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
Instructions
- Cut steak into 1-inch pieces; sprinkle with seasoning.
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, 3 to 4 minutes or until butter begins to brown. Add half of steak, and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until browned.
- Remove from skillet, and set aside. Repeat with remaining butter and steak.
- Add corn to skillet, and cook 4 minutes or until corn begins to brown.
- Toss together salad greens, tomatoes, corn, onions, and cheese; add dressing, toss.
- Divide mixture among 6 plates; top servings with steak.
