Italian Pesto Burgers
Parmesan-Black Pepper Waffle Fries
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 (8-oz) jar pesto, divided
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 6 hamburger buns
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- ½ (1-oz) pkg fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together beef, ¼ cup pesto, and vinegar. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Shape into 6 patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Top with cheese, and grill 1 minute longer or just until cheese is melted.
- Stir together mayonnaise and ¼ cup pesto. Spread mixture on cut side of buns. Serve burgers on buns with tomato and basil.

- 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen waffle-cut French fries
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
