Teriyaki Beef and Vegetables
Sesame-Garlic NoodlesIngredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 zucchini, cut into chunks
- 1 crown broccoli, cut into florets
- ½ (8-oz) pkg whole mushrooms, quartered
- 1 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1½ Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and keep warm.
- Cook onion, zucchini, broccoli, and mushrooms in hot oil in skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until tender. Return beef to skillet.
- Whisk together broth and remaining ingredients. Pour over beef mixture, and cook 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Serve over Sesame-Garlic Noodles recipe.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (16-oz) pkg thin spaghetti
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1½ Tbsp dark sesame oil
- ½ Tbsp sesame seeds
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, reserving ¼ cup pasta water.
- Sauté garlic in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat 1 minute; add pasta, sesame seeds, and pasta water. Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
