Sirloin Steak Salad
Ingredients
- ½ lb boneless sirloin steak, trimmed
- 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt, divided
- 1 (5-oz) pkg spring mix
- 2 Roma tomatoes, cut into wedges
- ½ bell pepper, chopped (any color)
- ¼ cup thinly sliced onion
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Sprinkle steak with seasoning and ⅛ tsp salt. Place steak on a lightly greased broiler pan.
- Broil 7 to 8 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once. Let stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
- Combine spring mix, tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, and bacon in a bowl.
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, pepper, and ⅛ tsp salt; drizzle over salad, and toss. Serve steak over salad.
