Skillet Sloppy Joe Pasta
Apple-Spinach Salad
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend (diced bell peppers, onion, celery, and parsley)
- 2 (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 (12-oz) pkg wide egg noodles
Instructions
- Cook beef and seasoning blend in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
- Stir in noodles; cover, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (10-oz) pkg spinach
- 2 red apples, chopped
- ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
