Skillet Sloppy Joe Pasta

Apple-Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend (diced bell peppers, onion, celery, and parsley)
  • 2 (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg wide egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and seasoning blend in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
  3. Stir in noodles; cover, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (10-oz) pkg spinach
  • 2 red apples, chopped
  • ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
