Buttery Noodles and Broccoli with Cheese

Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef stew meat, cut into small pieces
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
  • ½ (6-oz) can tomato paste
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle stew meat with salt and pepper in a 5-or 6-quart slow cooker. Add mushrooms. Stir together broth, tomato paste, and soy sauce; pour over meat in cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or until beef is tender.
  3. Stir sour cream into cooker, and cook just until thickened and heated. Serve over Buttery Noodles recipe.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg egg noodles
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 (10-oz) pkg frozen broccoli and cheese sauce

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and toss with butter until melted. Season with salt to taste.
  2. Cook broccoli according to package directions.
