Easy Barbecue Chicken Kabobs
Kids’ Favorite Green Beans and Scalloped PotatoesIngredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread chicken onto bamboo or metal skewers. Sprinkle with paprika; season with salt and pepper. Brush with barbecue sauce.
- Grill, covered, 5 minutes per side or until chicken is done. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (28-oz) can cut green beans, drained
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 (4.7-oz) pkg scalloped potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange beans in a greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Combine sugar, butter, and garlic powder; pour over beans. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake 25 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
