Grilled Steak Salad with Homemade Ranch

Ingredients
- ½ lb top sirloin steak, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 ear corn, shucked
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts, chopped
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup halved grape tomatoes
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp buttermilk
- ½ Tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- ½ tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
- ⅛ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle steak with steak seasoning. Grill steak, covered, 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Grill corn 5 minutes per side or until tender.
- Let steak stand 10 minutes before cutting into 1-inch pieces. Cool corn, and cut kernels from cob.
- Toss together lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, onion, and corn in a bowl.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, parsley, dill, lemon juice, garlic salt, and pepper. Drizzle dressing over salad; toss. Divide between 2 plates, and top with steak.
